A century ago, shophouses like these were built for travelling merchants who lived above their trades — the original blend of co-working and living.
The Nomad Shophouse revives that spirit for today’s modern nomads and remote professionals, offering inspiring spaces to live, work, and connect under one roof.
Run by a Malaysian–British family, the Shophouse grew from our passion for hosting and our own experiences as travellers.
We hope to create a warm, community-minded space for nomads, expats and Malaysians of all ages to meet and share experiences.

Young Nomads
Creative programs for curious kids (6-14)
Our Studio space comes alive on weekends and school holidays with Young Nomads — hands-on workshops in STEM, art, history and Malaysian culture, designed to help kids create, collaborate and build confidence.
Parents are welcome to relax, go out or get productive in our co-working hot-desk area (for free) while sessions run. And Kids don’t need to be nomads or expats—everyone is welcome.
